Coping With Loss
On November 1, 2024 we lost our 22-year-old son to suicide. He had just graduated from McMaster University with his Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Behaviour. Our son was as close to perfect as one could imagine.
Jacob was just finishing up a celebratory three-week dream trip to Japan with a good friend. The texts and pictures that he sent home on a daily basis were light-hearted, excited, and happy. His life was off to a great start and he was so deserving.
